CFA Class DDG

Preservation Opportunity

 Updated 11/25/2006

When reviewing the ship's fate page on this website, you will see that only the USS Charles F. Adams DDG-2 remains afloat.  She is the last of the twenty-three CFA ships built for the United States Navy and is our one and only opportunity to save a ship of this class.  The Australian CFA class ships are either artificial reefs or scrapped.  The German Navy will be preserving the CFA class Zerstörer Mölders D186 at the German Naval Museum.
